RICE PILAF 
1/8 c. butter
1/4 c. onions, chopped
1/4 c. vermicelli, crushed
1 1/2 c. long grain rice
3 bay leaves
2 tsp. salt
Dash of cayenne pepper
A few spoons of yogurt
1 qt. beef or chicken broth

Saute ingredients until brown. Bring to boil stock at the same time. Add to sauteed ingredients. Cover and cook like rice or bake at 275 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes. Stir in yogurt, serve immediately.
