COCOA POUND CAKE 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
3 c. flour
5 eggs
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. cocoa
1 c. milk
1 tbsp. vanilla

Grease generously a 10-inch tube cake pan. Preheat oven at 325 degrees. Cream butter, shortening, and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each.

Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and cocoa. Add alternately with milk to creamed sugar. Beat until blended. Add vanilla. Pour into pan. Bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until done. Cool on wire rack.
