COCOA POUND CAKE 
1 c. butter
2 1/2 c. sugar
5 eggs, unbeaten
3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. cocoa

Cream butter, beating until light and fluffy. Beat sugar in gradually. Add eggs, one at a time and beat each in vigorously.

Resift flour with salt, baking powder and cocoa. Mix into beaten mixture in small amounts, alternating with milk, beating each in to blend well. Beat in vanilla. Pour batter into greased and floured 10 inch tube pan. Bake in preheated 325 degree F. oven 1 1/2 hours or until done. Cool in pan 15 minutes. Remove and cool completely.
