TAYLOR COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. dark molasses
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. flour less 1 tbsp.
1/4 c. buttermilk
3/4 tsp. baking soda

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, molasses, cinnamon, flour, buttermilk and soda. Refrigerate at least 6 hours or overnight.

Drop by teaspoonfuls, first dipping each in flour on greased cookie sheet. With back of fingers press down lightly and sprinkle each with sugar. Bake 325 degrees F., 10-12 minutes. 5 dozen.
