2 c. flour
1 c. butter
2 tbsp. sugar
1 c. walnuts, almonds or pecans, chopped
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
1 (12 oz.) Cool Whip
1 (6 oz.) pkg. Instant Chocolate Pudding
2 c. cold milk
Extra fine chopped nuts & a cherry for decoration

Mix flour, butter and sugar well. Add nuts and press into a 9 1/2 inch Springform pan, bottom and sides. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. (Should just brown like a cookie.) Cool completely.

1ST LAYER:

Combine cream cheese, powdered sugar and 1/2 the container of Cool Whip. Mix well. Pour into cooled shell as first layer.

2ND LAYER:

Mix pudding and milk. Add as 2nd layer.

3RD LAYER:

Spread remaining 1/2 container of Cool Whip on top. Sprinkle with nuts and a cherry for decoration. Put in refrigerator. Chill and serve. ENJOY!
