FRIED PIES 
1 pkg. dried apples, peaches or apricots
1 can of biscuits
Sugar
Crisco oil or Crisco

Wash dried fruit well and place in heavy boiler and add water. Cook over low heat until fruit is tender and most of the water is cooked out. Mash well adding enough sugar to your taste. Roll out biscuit dough thin. Place about three tablespoons of fruit mixture on 1/2 of dough and fold over sealing edge with fork. Put Crisco in heavy skillet and turn on heat, when it gets hot turn down to low heat. When pies are brown, turn over to brown both sides. Take up and lay on plate with paper towels on it.
