RAISIN SAUCE FOR HAM | |
1 c. raisins 1 1/4 c. orange juice 1/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar 1 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch 1/4 tsp. each cinnamon & cloves 1/4 tsp. dry mustard 1 c. pecan halves (opt.) Combine raisins and orange juice in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until raisins are plump, about 5 minutes. In a small bowl mix together brown sugar with cornstarch. Stir into raisin mixture. Add spices and cook, while stirring, until thickened. Add pecans, if desired. Serve hot sauce over ham. Makes 1 1/2 cups. |
