KEY LIME CAKE | |
Cake: 3/4 c. oil 3/4 c. orange juice 5 eggs 1 -3 oz. lime jello 1 lemon cake mix 1/4 c. lime juice 1 box 4x sugar Mix until smooth the oil, orange juice, eggs, lime jello, and lemon cake mix. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 15 pan. Bake at 325°F for 25-30 minutes or until done when tested. Prick with fork all over while hot. Combine lime juice with 5-6 tablespoons of 4x sugar. Pour over cake and cool. Frosting: 1 -8 oz. cream cheese 1/2 stick butter 1 tsp. vanilla 1 box 4x sugar Cream together cream cheese, butter, and vanilla. Add sugar and spread over cake and keep refrigerated. |
