TOMATO PRESERVES 
5 lb. tomatoes or 11 c.
8 c. sugar
2 lemons (sliced)
4 boxes Sure Jell

Scald, peel and quarter tomatoes. Let stand overnight.

And cook 20 minutes. Add Sure Jell and bring to boil. Add sugar and lemon slices. Bring to a rolling boil. You can't stir down and boil 1 minute. Put in sterilized jars and seal. Makes approximately 12 pints.
