SWEDISH NUT CAKE 
1 3/4 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nutmeats
1 (10 oz.) can undrained pineapple

Add all ingredients in a large bowl and mix by hand. (Do not use mixer.) Grease and flour a 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool 10 minutes and spread.
