RHUBARB TORTE 
CRUST:

2 c. flour
2 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 sticks butter

Mix together like pie crust. Press into 11 x 15 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

CUSTARD:

1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
4 egg yolks
1 c. milk

Bring to boil and pour over crust. Pour 4 cups rhubarb over custard.

MERINGUE:

4 egg whites
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar

Top rhubarb with meringue. Bake 35 minutes or until meringue is brown.
