GREEN TOMATO PIE 
2 (9 inch) unbaked pie crusts
1 unbeaten egg white
3 med. green tomatoes, thinly sliced
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. butter
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. raisins (washed)

Turn into pastry sprinkled with 2 tablespoons bread crumbs. Dot with butter. Add 2 tablespoons water. Place top crust and crimp. Bake 15 minutes at 425 degrees. Reduce to 325 degrees and bake 50 minutes or longer.
