SUNDAY DELIGHT 
6 egg whites
3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
2 c. sugar
2 c. (about 45) crushed soda crackers, "fat free"
3/4 c. chopped nuts
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. "lite" Cool Whip
1 can cherry pie filling

Beat egg whites until frothy, add cream of tartar, then gradually add sugar. Beat until stiff. FOLD in crushed crackers, nuts and vanilla.

Spread in well sprayed 9x13 baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool on rack.

Spread lite Cool Whip over cooled 1st layer, spoon cherries over Cool Whip, dotting and stringing around.

Chill several hours before serving.

A good do ahead recipe. Pretty for holidays with red cherries.
