HOMEMADE BAKING MIX 
10 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1 1/3 cups nonfat dry milk
5 tbsp. baking powder
3 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. salt
2 1/2 cups shortening (Crisco)

In a very large bowl, stir together the first 5 ingredients until well blended. With a pastry blender, cut in shortening until coarse crumbs form. Store in airtight container in cool, dry place up to 3 months. Stir before measuring.

Makes about 16 cups.
