TOLL HOUSE COOKIES 
1/2 c. melted butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. baking soda
2 1/4 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 med. size bag chocolate chips

Blend butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla; set aside. Sift flour, soda and salt together, then add to first mixture. Blend well by hand, add a few drops of hot water, if needed, for consistency. When mixture is well blended, add chocolate chips, stir.

Drop teaspoon of batter on a greased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart. Bake in a preheated oven at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Do not over bake. Cookies should be lightly browned and allowed to cool on sheet before removing.
