MOLASSES PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES 
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup peanut butter
2 eggs
1/3 cup molasses
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. cloves
1 cup wheat flakes or oatmeal
powdered sugar or fine chopped nuts, for rolling

Mix together oil, peanut butter, eggs, molasses and sugars. Add flour, leavenings and seasonings. Mix. Add wheat or oats. Chill an hour or more.

Roll in walnut size balls. Roll in sugar or chopped nuts and place on baking sheet. Flatten with bottom of glass. Bake at 375°F for 10 to 12 minutes until set but not hard.
