| PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES | |

1/2 cup peanut butter 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened 1/2 cup white sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 egg 1 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking soda Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix peanut butter and softened butter together in a large mixing bowl until smooth. Gradually add all other ingredients. Blend until smooth. Spoon batter onto greased cookie sheet. Flatten cookies with a criss-cross mark made using a fork pressed into cookie. Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes. | |

These are tasty cookies! I will share this with other people you should be famous about your cookies I geues I went a little over board sorry And why cant smash them to make them flat with our hands and not our forks because it is the traditional way to do it

I have been using this recipe for ages, now the only thing i do is modify it slightly to add 1 full cup od peanut butter. I in fact had to stop baking them because everyone in our building would come down once they smelled them and clean me out, now that i have moved i am looking forward to baking this wonderful recipe again.
