TOSSED FRUIT SALAD 
1 c. safflower oil
1/3 c. white vinegar
1/4 c. sugar or to taste
1 tbsp. poppy seeds (optional)
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt

SALAD:

2 heads lettuce, washed, torn into bite size pieces
1 pt. fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
2 oranges, peeled and diced (can substitute canned mandarin oranges)
2 avocados, peeled and diced

Combine dressing ingredients in blender and mix until thickened. Chill thoroughly.

Combine salad ingredients except avocado in salad bowl. Cover and chill. Add avocado just before serving. Pour dressing over and toss to coat. 8 servings.
