OREGON PRUNE CAKE 
1 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. butter creamed with sugar
1/2 c. sweet milk
1 c. cooked prunes, cut in pieces
1/2 c. prune juice
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda in little water
1 tsp. each of cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg

Flour enough so that batter will run a little or about 2 cups. Bake in 350-375 degree oven for 1 hour. This recipe was cooked in a woodstove also. Watch it and test it with a toothpick.
