POPPY SEED ORANGE MUFFINS 
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
1 1/2 tsp. grated orange peel
2 eggs
2 c. unbleached flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. grated nutmeg
1 c. milk
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
1/4 c. poppy seeds

Beat sugar, butter and orange peel Add eggs, one at a time. Stir flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg together. Add to creamed mix alternately with milk, beating after each addition. Fold in fruit, nuts and seeds. Fill greased tins 3/4 full. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
