FRUIT SQUARES 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. quick cooking rolled oats
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. butter
1 c. any fruit preserves (simply fruit or all fruit)

Stir together flour, oats, brown sugar, and soda. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Pat 2/3 of the crumbs in the bottom of an ungreased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan; spread with preserves. Sprinkle with remaining crumbs. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool. Cut into bars. Makes 30.
