SAUCY GREEN BEAN BAKE 
4 c. fresh cut green beans (1" pieces)
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/3 c. chopped green peppers
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 tbsp. chopped pimientos
1 tbsp. prepared mustard
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. shredded process American cheese

Cook green beans, uncovered in boiling salted water for 2 to 3 minutes, then cover and cook 20 to 30 minutes or until tender. Drain and set aside. Combine onions, green pepper, garlic and butter in a medium skillet. Cook over low heat until tender. Remove from heat and stir in tomato sauce, pimientos, mustard and salt. Stir in green beans. Spoon mixture into a greased 1 quart baking dish. Cover.

Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Remove from heat and sprinkle with cheese. Place back in oven and bake another 5 minutes or until cheese has melted. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
