GUYANE PEPPER POT 
1 lb. short beef ribs
2 pigs feet, split
2 lb. stew beef
2 lb. oxtails
1 onion, cut up
1 fig garlic
1 lg. spoon sugar
1/8 tsp. spice
1/4 tsp. black pepper
2 lg. pot spoons caspeep (found in West Indian stores)
Water

Wash all meats thoroughly. Put in large pot. Add all other ingredients. Put water to cover meats. Cook over medium heat until meats are tender. Cook over low heat, about 2 to 3 hours. This dish could be eaten with cooked rice.
