SALISBURY STEAK 
2 lb. ground beef, lean
1 2/3 c. dry bread crumbs
1/2 c. ketchup
3 egg whites, lightly beaten (or 2 eggs lightly beaten)
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. chopped onion
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce (optional)

SAUCE:

1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can mushrooms, drained
1 c. milk

To make steaks, combine meat, bread crumbs, ketchup, egg whites, pepper and onions; mix well. Shape into 10 patties. Place in 9x13 pan. Heat undiluted soup, mushrooms and milk, stirring until warm. Pour over steaks and bake covered at 350 degrees (325 degrees for glass pan) for 1 hour.
