CHERRIES IN THE SNOW 
2 env. whipping cream
1 lb. cream cheese
1 c. cold milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sifted confectioners sugar
1 can cherry pie filling
1 angel food cake

Bake angel food cake mix or buy cake. Beat cream cheese gradually and add powdered sugar slowly. Whip. Beat whipping cream with 1 cup of milk and vanilla. Combine mixtures. Trim brown areas from cake and break in small pieces. Spread a thin layer of cheese mixture (about 1/3) in the bottom of 9 x 15 inch pan.

Fit broken pieces of cake in a layer over the cheese. Add another layer of cheese mixture; alternate layers finishing with cheese mixture. Top with pie filling. Chill at least 8 hours.
