BANANA SPLIT PIE 
3 med. bananas
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 (9 inch) baked pie shell
1 pt. strawberry ice cream
1 c. Cool Whip, thawed
2 tbsp. finely chopped nuts
Whole maraschino cherries

Thinly slice the bananas; sprinkle with lemon juice and arrange on bottom of baked pie shell. Stir strawberry ice cream to soften slightly; spread over bananas. Freeze until firm.

Spread thawed Cool Whip over ice cream. Top with maraschino cherries; sprinkle with nuts. Freeze again until firm. Let stand 30 minutes at room temperature before serving. May be topped with chocolate fudge sauce.
