BANANA SPLIT PIE 
3 med. bananas
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 pt. strawberry ice cream
3 tbsp. finely chopped nuts
1 c. Cool Whip

Arrange in bottom of baked pie shell, thinly sliced bananas and sprinkle with lemon juice. Stir strawberry ice cream to soften slightly and spread on top of bananas. Freeze until firm. Spread thawed Cool Whip over ice cream. Top with nuts, cherries and freeze again until firm.

Let stand 30 minutes at room temperature before serving. Serve with a drizzling of chocolate syrup over top of pie.
