1ST LAYER:

1/2 c. butter, melted
1 c. flour
1 c. pecans, chopped

Mix and bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees.

2ND LAYER:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. Cool Whip
1 c. confectioners' sugar

Mix and spread over crust (1st Layer).

3RD LAYER:

1 lg. box instant chocolate pudding
2 c. milk

Mix well and spread over 2nd layer. Spread Cool Whip over top and sprinkle with pecans.
