3 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. granulated sugar
1 1/2 tsp. tomato ketchup or paste
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 1/2 tsp. soy sauce
2/3 c. water
Salt
2 tsp. oil
1/3 c. pineapple juice or crushed
1/3 c. very fine chopped onion, scallions & pickled onions

Blend vinegar, sugar, tomato ketchup or paste, cornstarch and soy sauce with the water. Put into saucepan and cook until thick. Add the salt and oil and continue cooking for a few minutes. Lastly, stir in the pineapple or mustard, pickle and onion. Serves 4.
