SWEET AND SOUR SAUCE WITH
VEGETABLES
 
4 dried mushrooms
1 red tomato, peeled and cut in half
2 tbsp. green peas
4 tbsp. catsup
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. rice wine
1 tbsp. white vinegar
1 tbsp. sesame oil
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. cornstarch
4 tbsp. water

Soften dried mushrooms in water and cut in cubes. Peel and cut red tomato in half. Disperse cornstarch in 4 tablespoons water.

Heat 3 tablespoons of the peanut oil in a saucepan. Saute onion, mushrooms, tomato, and peas. Stir in catsup, sugar, wine, vinegar, sesame oil, salt, soy sauce, and the cornstarch-water mixture. Cook and stir until thickened.

Pour over the Boneless Fish and serve hot.
