TO MAKE SELF RISING FLOUR | |
1/2 cup baking powder 1/4 cup baking soda 1/4 cup salt 5 lb. all-purpose flour Add baking powder, baking soda and salt to flour. Using 2 large bowls, sift the mixture 3 to 4 times, using the largest sifter that you have, or use a large strainer and a wooden spoon to sift it. Store at room temperature and use in any recipe that calls for self-rising flour. Makes 5 lb. self-rising flour equivalent. |
