OLD FASHIONED POUND CAKE 
1 lb. softened butter
10 lg. eggs, room temperature
3 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon extract
4 c. plain flour

Generously grease and flour a big bundt pan or tube pan, using butter. Mix butter, sugar, vanilla and lemon extract until well creamed. Add eggs, one at a time, beating until well blended. Add flour, 1 cup at a time, until well mixed. Scrape bowl often. When well mixed and creamy, pour into pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until cake tests done. Remove from pan immediately and cover with foil wrap. Keep tightly wrapped.
