3 c. plain flour
1 c. shortening
2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
8 eggs
2 3/4 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
1 tsp. almond or lemon flavoring

Cream shortening, sugar and butter together. Add vanilla and flavoring of your choice. Sift flour and add eggs one at a time. Pour into a 10 inch tube pan. Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 325.
