FRESH APPLE POUND CAKE 
3 c. unsifted flour
1 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. finely chopped raw apples
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. corn oil
3 eggs
1 c. chopped pecans

Thoroughly stir together flour, soda and salt. In large bowl at medium speed beat together oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Gradually beat in flour mixture until smooth. Fold in apples and pecans. Pour into greased and floured 10 x 4 bundt pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes.

SAUCE:

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. milk

Heat until sugar dissolves. Spoon over cake.
