GOLDEN MUSHROOM FRITTERS 
1 c. biscuit mix
1 c. fresh mushrooms (chopped)
2 tbsp. green onions (sliced)
1 tbsp. pimiento, chopped
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. celery seeds
1 egg yolk, beaten
1/3 c. sour cream
1 egg white
Cooking oil for deep frying

In mixing bowl combine biscuit mix, mushrooms, onions, pimiento, salt and celery seeds. Mix together. Add egg yolk and sour cream. Stir into dry ingredients until moistened. Beat egg whites to stiff peaks. Gently fold beaten egg whites into mushroom mixture.

In a heavy saucepan or electric fry pan heat oil to 375 degrees. Drop batter by tablespoon full into hot oil. Fry until brown.
