VERMONT SPICED NUTS | |
In a large bowl, mix 1 cup each walnut and pecan halves. Combine 1 lightly beaten egg white and 1 1/2 tablespoons cold water; pour over nuts; stir to coat. Mix: 1 c. confectioners' sugar 2 tbsp. cornstarch 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. each of cinnamon, cloves & allspice Sprinkle over nuts; stir until coated. Spread nuts on greased baking sheet. Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour. |
