SPICED NUTS 
1 c. sugar
6 tbsp. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 lb. nuts

Add all ingredients except nuts. Bring to a boil and cook 3 to 4 minutes. Stir in nuts, stir until coated. Pour out on waxed paper and cool. Separate nuts as soon as you pour out. Note: Caution - do not stir too much or it will become grainy.
