LAMB SHANKS 
4 lamb shanks
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
Juice of 1 lemon
1/2 tsp. dry oregano
1/2 c. wine
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tsp. Tabasco sauce

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Use pan with a cover. In pan, salt and pepper lamb shanks, add rest of ingredients, mix well and place covered pan in oven and cook slowly for 1 3/4 hours, turning meat several times.
