EASY RAISIN BREAD 
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. oats, uncooked
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1/3 c. melted butter
1 egg
1/2 c. raisins

Combine dry ingredients; add milk, butter and egg, mixing just until moistened. Stir in raisins. Spoon into greased and floured 9 x 5 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan.

Although I think this is closer to a cake-like texture rather than bread, I think it's very good. Takes a minimal amount of time to prepare and uses ingredients I always have on hand. For the oats I use my Instant Oatmeal cereal packets. I also tried this recipe using dried cherries cut up and it came out terrific. Thanks for sharing!
