3 or 4 squares chocolate
1/2 c. shortening or 1 piece butter
1 c. cold water
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 tsp. salt

Melt chocolate. Cook chocolate, shortening, and water together. Mix flour, soda, sugar, and salt together and pour chocolate mixture over. Add 2 eggs and 1/2 cup buttermilk. Bake at 350 to 375 degrees in greased and floured 9x13 inch loaf pan.
