SALISBURY STEAK AND PEPPERS 
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 env. (about 1.5 oz.) dehydrated onion soup mix, divided
1 egg
1/4 c. seasoned dry bread crumbs
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. water
1 lg. green pepper, cut in strips
1 sm. onion, sliced

Mix well beef, 2 tablespoons soup mix, the egg, bread crumbs and salt; shape in 4 oval patties; set aside.

In shallow casserole or skillet mix remaining soup mix and flour; stir in water. Add meat patties; place pepper and onions around meat. Cover; bake in preheated 350 degree oven 30 minutes, stirring vegetables once or twice until meat is done as desired. Makes 4 servings.
