1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1/4 c. lemon juice
1/2 c. water
1 egg slightly beaten
4 slices stale bread, diced
2 tsp. seasoning salt
1/4 c. onion, chopped

TOPPING:

1/2 c. catsup
1/3 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. brown mustard
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 tsp. ground allspice

Combine all meat loaf ingredients. Mix well and shape into 6 individual loaves. Place in oblong casserole.

Combine ingredients for topping and set aside. Bake loaves at 350 degrees for 15 minutes then cover with topping. Place a lemon slice on each loaf if desired. Continue baking for 30 minutes, basting occasionally with the sauce.
