MARSHMALLOW ICING | |
1 1/3 c. sugar 1/2 c. water 1/2 c. marshmallows 3 egg whites 1/8 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla Boil sugar and water without stirring until syrup spins a thread. Melt marshmallows in syrup. Pour slowly into stiffly beaten egg whites. Add flavoring and salt. Spread thickly over top and sides of 2 (9") layer cakes. |
