GERMAN STYLE POTATO SALAD 
10-12 sm. potatoes
1/2 lb. bacon
1 lg. onion
1/2 c. white vinegar
1/2 tsp. sugar to taste
Whole celery seed
Parsley

Boil potatoes until done, drain and cool. Remove skins and slice into bowl. While potatoes are boiling, cut bacon into small squares and fry with chopped onion until done. Add vinegar and sugar to bacon mixture, stir well, pour over potatoes, turn gently to blend through potatoes. Sprinkle with celery seed. Garnish with parsley. Let sit for a while so ingredients can absorb into potatoes. Serve. (Best served reheated after being in the refrigerator.)
