SAVORY ROAST 
1 pkg. Lipton onion soup
1 can cream of celery soup
Carrots, cut into sticks (a bunch)
1 onion, cut in rings (or two)
1 bell pepper, thinly sliced (or two)
Rib roast (flat)
Potatoes (about 4)
1/4 c. water

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In roast pan place water, roast. Sprinkle onion soup over top. Pour celery soup (condensed) over top. Add carrots. Place in oven for 1 hour.

Mix liquids. Add bell peppers and onions; place in oven 45 minutes. Add potatoes and bake about 30 minutes or until potatoes are done.

To serve, place on platter with veggies arranged around roast. The liquid makes a wonderful gravy.

Chicken can be substituted. Place chicken breasts and water (1/4 cup), cream of chicken soup and carrots in 300 degree oven for 30 minutes. Add veggies and stewed tomatoes. Bake 45 minutes. Serve on platter.
