VEGETABLE SAUSAGE SOUP 
1 1/4 lb. Italian sweet sausage
1/4 c. water
2 cans chicken broth
1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes, quartered
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 tsp. basil leaves, crushed
1/2 tsp. dried parsley flakes
1/4 tsp. sugar
2 c. cooked sm. shell macaroni
3 c. frozen mixed vegetables.

In large heavy pan combine sausage and water. Cover; cook over low heat 10 minutes. Drain. Cut sausage into thin slices. Return sausage to pan; brown. Add remaining ingredients except macaroni and vegetables.

Cover, cook over low heat 45 minutes. Add macaroni, cook 5 minutes. Add frozen vegetables; cook until done. Stir occasionally. Makes about 9 servings.
