AUNT MARY'S YUMMIE DILL PICKLES 
1 qt. Kosher dill pickles, drained completely, cut in chunks
3 c. sugar
1 c. cider vinegar
A little water to dilute

Boil sugar, vinegar and water until thick (3 to 4 minutes). Pour over pickle chunks. Let stand in refrigerator for 3 or 4 days.
