GROUND BEEF NOODLE CASSEROLE 
1 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. fat
1 lb. ground beef
3 c. med. noodles
3 c. tomato juice
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. celery salt
Dash of pepper
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 to 1/2 c. chopped green pepper (optional)
1 c. sour cream
1 (3 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained

Cook onion in hot fat until tender, but not brown. Add beef, brown lightly. Place noodles in layers over meat. Combine tomato juice and seasonings, pour over the noodles. Bring to boil; cover and simmer over low heat for 20 minutes.

Add green peppers, cover and continue cooking 10 minutes or until noodles are tender. Stir in sour cream and mushrooms and heat just to boil. Season to taste. Best if made in electric frying pan.
