OATMEAL PANCAKES | |
2 c. milk 1/2 c. butter 1/3 c. sifted flour 1 tbsp. sugar 2 egg whites, stiffly beaten 2 egg yolk 2 c. quick cooking rolled oats 1/2 tsp. salt Heat milk and butter to boiling. Pour over rolled oats and mix. Let stand until cool. Beat in egg yolks. Stir in sifted dry ingredients. Fold in egg whites. Bake slowly on lightly greased hot griddle until golden brown on both sides. |
