CHOP SUEY 
1 1/2 lb. beef cubes or 1 lb. beef and 1/2 lb. pork
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 c. chopped celery
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. soy molasses
4 tbsp. soy sauce
1 can bean sprouts
1 can mixed chop suey vegetables
1 can mushrooms
1 c. water
Chow mein noodles and cooked rice

Brown meat in fat, salt and pepper; add onions, celery, brown with meat. Add sugar, soy sauce and molasses. Cover and cook about 5 minutes. Add bean sprouts, chop suey vegetables, mushrooms and water, stir occasionally. Water can be added if needed. Cook 1 hour. Serve with rice or noodles.
